I used 1/2 a white “stale” baguette, 4 table spoons of Parmesan, 4 tablespoons butter, 2 teaspoons olive oil, 1 tea spoon rosemary (dry) 1 teaspoon garlic powder. I melted butter added everything else then coated and cooked for 25mins This recipe was created to accompany Bacon and Blue Cheese Salad with Caesar Dressing. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt 2 tablespoons butter with olive oil and garlic in small saucepan. Place bread (Croutons are okay if made from fresh bread/rolls but better when the rolls are stale/firm.) I use garlic powder instead of garlic -- the taste ends up evenly distributed . . . just garlic powder and enough butter to coat (although you could add herbs if you wanted as well).
